Celtic Torque


Celtic Torque.

The torque has always been a sign of Chieftanship.

I wear the torque all the time and have had lots of comment upon it's style. The twisted ring with the boar terminals are representative of the emblem of the XX Valeria, a Roman Legion that was led North of the wall byGnaeus Julius Agricola in an attempt to subjugate the Caledo-nian tribes. The legion was defeated and the Caledonians adopted the image as a trophy of the defeat. A replica of the torque may be had by
